The HOPE Plaza Apartment project is a 48-unit affordable family housing community located in Caldwell, Idaho near the corner of East Elgin Street and North 16th Avenue. The community has spacious 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units. Rents are based on income and vary accordingly. HOPE Plaza accepts residents with SICHA/Section 8 Vouchers or other rental assistance.
In addition to the Apartments, the project includes a large community center. The HOPE Plaza Community Center houses an onsite child learning facility that provides services to the residents of HOPE Plaza Apartments and other local area families. Additionally, the project sponsor, Advocates Against Family Violence has offices and provides services and training out of the Community Center.
HOPE Plaza Apartments has on-site management and a variety of community amenities including a park with walking areas with benches, a picnic area and children’s play area. The community boasts security cameras for enhanced resident security. Additionally, the Community Center includes a meeting rooms, computer facilities, an exercise facility with equipment, common laundry and on-site leasing office for use by the residents.
Each apartment includes a full compliment of appliances – refrigerator, stove, microwave, garbage disposal and dishwasher. All units have laundry areas with hook-ups for washer and dryer. The space can provide additional storage room if the resident chooses to use the central laundry. All units also have a private patio/deck with exterior storage.
